Sochi Olympic Mug Rug Exchange

I participated in the 2014 Sochi Olympic Mug Rug exchange with Lizzie, from Key Largo, Florida..While I was shivering in below normal temperatures here in Iowa, she was basking in lovely warm temps in Florida so our mug rugs are now experiencing new environments in their new homes. These are the lovely mug rugs that came to live at my house yesterday, sent to me by Lizzie..and she included a package of Key Lime Coconut Bars!! The mug rugs are very nice and I like them a lot and the bars are very tasty too!!

Here are the Mug Rugs that I made for Lizzie.(above)  I included a beaded string bookmark, some micro brushes and a few little quilt labels  I hope she gets them okay, I haven't heard from her yet...keeping my fingers crossed though. Sew until next time, I hope you have a Stitches kind of day............

  1. those are cute - I haven't made any fancy cute mug rugs, just plain patchwork and not many of them! I bet those bars were good - the name alone has me drooling :)
